Using Avios To Book / Upgrade On AA & BA route
Hi all

A few months ago I booked flights via BA in J to JFK. I then used Avios to upgrade the outbound to F (BA metal). The inbound is in AA (BA code) and I was looking online to see if there was any F availability (AA 100 29 Nov JFK-LHR). However, BA.com is only showing Avios availability on BA metal (in W, J & F) both on that date and numerous others I’ve tried.

Is this indicating theres actually no avios availability in any class on the AA flights on any dates I’ve checked or are BA trying to force me into their own metal?
