I totally agree, but for me, these hotels are the reason we (my husband and I) became so fiercely loyal to SPG in the first place. Some of our fondest travel memories are visits at these hotels over the last 16 years. And we’ve had many return visits because our stays were so good. I counted it up and we’ve stayed at about a third of the hotels on the list and there are so many more we look forward to experiencing.
As of today we have upcoming reservations at Tambo del Inka, Phoenician Residences, Las Alcobas Napa & St Regis Hong Kong (all award stays). And we plan to make a reservation at St Regis Venice for 2020. (Combined with Gritti Palace and Cristallo Dolomites- which I just learned about thanks to this thread)
