I think someone who stayed in the top end rooms at Library (the Editor, the Writer) would probably disagree with you that Library is not aspirational. Perhaps the bottom two categories of rooms at Library might might the property as a whole not qualify as aspirational but even that is up for debate. I have not seen VB myself so I won't argue strongly against your opinion and you are clearly more knowledgeable than I am.

If I had money to splurge in KS I would pick the Writer at Library in a heartbeat rather than anything VB has to offer. If I wanted value for the money on a budget (it's all relative! ), then VB it is.
