N303AS was the second prototype 739; N302AS was the former N737X, the prototype 739. That one also went in for paint earlier this week. Neither is able to get the winglet upgrade for reasons I don't understand, but am hoping someone here could fill us in...
I don't know the specifics, but there's something different about the wingtip structure of the 739 flight test articles that makes attaching the standard 737 NG winglets unfeasible.
