I've stayed at both New Orleans properties and they each have their pros and cons. I thought that the rooms on Poydras were a little nicer, but the location was less convenient. The French Quarter W has more "atmosphere" You hear some noise and bustle from the street below (at least we did) but it's located in the heart of the Vieux Carré, which is fun if you're exploring the neighborhood.

Both had good service.
