Earlier this year I was in 2F on CLE-somewhere and looked up (as I tend to do) when the lead FA made the standard "seatbelt sign is on/off is your only indication that its safe" PA and noticed it was off, followed by the captain making a "we're expecting a few bumps so I'm gonna leave the sign on for now" PA. Sign stayed off. She came by for beverages and I pointed out it was off and captain said it would stay on. She called the front office and <ding>. (sorry!)
