That is interesting. The upgrade search is known to be buggy. And it's also odd that while PZ shows up as a fare class that can be booked, it does not show up among the available fare classes (J9 C9 Z9 P9 B9 M9 U9 ...). Also note that that is a YUL-DCA flight, not YUL-IAD.
