I would recommend you stay there. The corner suites have just undergone a renovation similar to some of the Jr suites which I had in May. The rooms were very nice. When you call check to see if there corner suites have been completed as they will be very nice. They are definitely better than the cookie cutter room you get at the Westin.

The Westin is great if you like to stay in a Mall. If you like some character and a newly refurbished room stay at the laurier. It is not as bad as others would have you believe.
