With the rise in smartphones with great cameras over the last 10 years+, putting a icon/logo
on the winglet was clearly a nice marketing gimmick for any of those pax taking a photo out of their window seat. Once it’s on Instagram or another social media post, it can be recognised. Shared, interest created etc etc and the social media/marketing world continues to grind.

I quite like the coloured winglets regardless of above. Albeit if they were a continuation of wing colour then all the same.
