I have been on flights where I have seen older passengers attempt to lift their somewhat heavy bags and ask the cabin crew to assist and have been refused this assistance on the rounds that the CC are not allowed to lift the bags for customers. Of course as an able bodied millennial I ma more than happy to help these passengers and always try to when I can!
