Sorry, but when it comes to Fire Island you'll find no 5, no 4, no 3, no 2, no 1 star hotels. I'd give the hotel in the Pines Harbor 1/2 a star - if that. But don't let that stop you from going, the beach is beautiful and there are no cars - one gets around by foot. Just be careful when you go into the bushes...
