It may be fine. You may be able to check bags through to DPS, clear departing Imm at CEI and flow the CIQ process at DMK.

I'm just not sure if this is available ex-CEI.

Just give yourself enough time in case, and hope to be pleasantly surprised (not by the bus station which is DMK of course).
