Hello all, I'm a regular FT lurker but not so much contributor. Also usually flying BA.

I recently booked a flight for work LHR-MUC with my work Mastercard and was charged an OPC, applicable to cards from outside the EEA. I find it a bit strange as the UK is still in the EU and EEA until October (or whenever). LH on Twitter were less than helpful and as the amount was relatively small, my office manager said to not pursue it.

Tonight I helped someone book a flight, same route but Business Flex, so naturally the charge was quite a bit more. I have helped this person before and this was never an issue before. Do you think it might be worth taking it up with LH?
