If you have an experience to use web or mobile check-in for JEP (even self check-in by the check-in machine), please share some of the information you already did.
My PNR didn't give an OLCI option on the web. I'm pretty sure that you can't avoid the processing that they clearly do at the check-in desk, but in Japan that is hardly much of an impediment. They are quite ok to show you seat options at that point.
