From today's cover of West Hawaii Today's online edition

The online edition of West Hawaii Today features this article on the front page:

The Barley Boys

Beer was the guest of honor.

India pale ale, Russian imperial stout, robust porter and golden pilsner filled glass mugs at Gale Willich's house Saturday afternoon in Honaunau.

But these beers weren't imported from around the world -- they were made here in West Hawaii by a group of homebrewers that call themselves the Kona Coast Barley Boys. Members meet monthly to talk story and talk beer.

Willich has served as president of the Barley Boys since founding the group in 1996.

The picture's caption reads:
Rob Talliere, left, and Mike "Da Aler" Dahler share a toast with members of the Kona Coast Barley Boys homebrewing club during the club's monthly meeting Saturday. MICHAEL DARDEN | West Hawaii Today
