If it's the latter, then as bisonrav says try it online. The website functionality has been improved recently so that many cooling-off cancellations will go through for a full refund if you are within the first 24 hours. Only if you are not being offered a full refund will it be necessary to phone.
In any event, if you made the booking sometime during Monday afternoon London time, you will still have a lot of tomorrow in which to try.
Wow, that sounds like a great improvement that I have not noticed on here or elsewhere.
