As an EXP, you'll have the ability to ask your favorite AAngel to plead yield management on your behalf to open an upgrade seat. Not a sure thing, but more often than not (especially if you're on full-fare Y/B or J). Don't worry - EXP is well worth the trouble.
Exp plats are exempt from the waitlist controls. I guess you can call it Over waitlist!
