They said that the cancellation was "2:41 min" too late. I assume this means 2 minutes, 41 seconds. It seems entirely plausible to me that at the time the cancellation page was displayed, it was before the cancellation deadline, but when you clicked "Confirm Cancellation" it was past the deadline.
