As a Titanium I was upgraded to a lake view room, with the choice of either a higher room with a Juliet balcony, or a lower room with a proper balcony with chairs. Complimentary breakfast was provided in the restaurant. I also received a voucher for their signature welcome drink, though that's a standard part of what's provided with the resort fee.

Overall, I really like the design and feel of this property, from the palm-lined entryway to the Moorish details in the mosaic tile work. It feels charming and interesting without seeming like it's trying to hard. It was nice to sit outside by the lake with my welcome drink, relaxing under the moon and stars and miles from the chaos of the Strip. I could almost pretend that I was vacationing somewhere near the Mediterranean.

The counterpoint to that is that the location is miles away from Las Vegas proper. As the whole Lake Las Vegas project hasn't really taken off, the rest of the area around the hotel seems like a bit of a (luxury) ghost town.
