You would more likely get an equal comparison, as IHG, Hilton, and Hyatt has the same credit card processing fee. I am not sure who else participates in Room Key.
Is there an option to use a bank debit card in Australia, and does that have fees as well? Many countries have do have bank debit cards as an alternative.
