I wish them luck, but I doubt it will succeed. An old guy named Guido from Halstead street who used to run a beef shop retired to Newport Beach, CA. Then he decided to un-retire and open a beef shop near the beach. It was nice and modern looking right on the Pacific Coast Highway, called Guidos. The beef was imported from Chicago and tasted pretty good. I used to drive about 45 minutes to get one. But it turned out his only good customers were ex-Chicagoans and he soon went out of business. It's just not something the LA/OC beach crowd will like.
