I just hope they don't skimp out on building materials for the sake of making the hotel "pretty" like most other high end properties in Korea (ex: the Conrad). I've stayed at this hotel every time I'm in Korea, mainly for sentimental reasons, but I would have no qualms recommending it to others especially at their current price point. Rooms are big, facilities are nice, connected to COEX, Hyundai Department Store, and most importantly, a stones throw away from City Airport Terminal. Oh, and I have yet to find another hotel that provides room slippers as comfortable as theirs. lol.
the slippers are indeed the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. Too bad they didn’t replace them every day with housekeeping or else I would have taken some home.
i ended up eating here for breakfast every day just out of convenience sake. Not much open at 6am even in the mall but then again, I never felt the restaurant was busy or overcrowded at that time. I did walk over to the IC Coex out of curiosity to look at their breakfast buffet. For an extra few dollars more, I’d stick with IC GP for the better looking room and more extensive menu.
