I would just like to ask for one more clarification on this issue. It appears to me that for my date (October 26, 2004),
all SYD-PER service is domestic 330 (at least as scheduled, if I understand correctly they
might substitute an aircraft, possibly with international skybeds, at the last minute according to loads). I was just noticing the following on the QF website:
"You can now enjoy a new level of comfort and service between Perth and Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane. The flight time allows for a real dining experience that's stylish, modern and sophisticated, with choice and flexibility. Showcasing the finest local seasonal food and wine, complemented by Rockpool inspired menus, our new Business service features include: [tons of bullet points about how great the food and beverage choices are, etc.]"
Would it be the opinion of persons on this board that it is better to choose business class PER-ADE-SYD (we are scheduled to leave PER on the 5:35 a.m. flight and get to Sydney around 1 p.m., all on 738 service) given the "awfulness" of the J product on the 330's, despite that we would get all this enhanced "Perth to East Coast" service on the nonstop?
Thanks!
