I got access to a killer rate at the Pine Cliff's Residence in early August through a family member's explore rate EU154 per night for a 2 bedroom unit. I'm debating whether it's what we really want, a great beach spot. I see nice hotels west of Lagos that seem as nice in terms of style and furnishings, have decent beach access and as a bonus seem to be near villages where there are independent restaurants that you can access without a car. We'll probably split the difference and hit one of those and the Pine Cliffs since we have to fly out of Faro at the end of the trip, but I am curious if anyone who has frequented Algarve can comment on the beach at Pine Cliffs and how annoying it is to drive to nearby restaurants if we dont like the on prem ones? At that rate, we can spend away at the hotel, but we do like to eat in smaller local places when we travel...
