I know it's off topic, but SriLankan catering, at least in J, is excellent these days. Regardless of their other (managerial or more senior) issues, their efforts here get nothing but praises from me.

MH, sadly, is more up and down. I've had some quite tasty meals, but there have been some very forgettable ones (and sometimes, unforgettable: a truly disappointing breakfast trio a few years ago, and one serving of satay I'm not certain was all good comes to mind). Wish they could fix this, but their long-term contract with Brahmin and focus on costs means this is unlikely... the drastically limiting of their CoC options seems to illustrate this.

Still, most my flights are <8 hours and booked as night flights of longer, so I try to eat at the lounge ahead of the flight instead...
