Flying one of these next week. I have the option to enter my AS FF # on American’s website. Should I do this? Or just save my boarding passes for manual credit?

Obviously it’d be ideal if I entered my AS # on AA.com and the flight credited using the AA chart (which is better). But I assume this won’t happen. Next best is they auto-credit using JL chart. Worst case is giving AA any sort of FF # screws me somehow, which is what I’m worried about and thus tempted to leave the field blank.

Any past experiences appreciated.
