I recently was on J flight and had smoked salmon as an appetizer, it was incredibly fishy and was "off" it was also warm to the touch, had I eaten it I would have been sick, I had words with the chef, who tried shrugging it off, and then with the Purser, to whom I asked if perhaps due to teh kitchen situation, it might have been mishandled and kept out for a day if not more. The Purser seemed quite amazed that I knew about the catering facility issues that they currently have, and she said that she would write it up.
