Long story short: it's very complicated. Check out the General GPU earning & usage questions thread ... complete with Wiki. But the MP account for your daughter won't impact your upgrade chances. And it depends upon how you upgrade.

But it's worth it, IMO, to get accounts for your kids. The iapetus jrs. each have their own.
