Too many Golds, too easy to get. If even I can be Gold, that shows how seriously the concept has been devalued.

I suspect that GGL is probably about the level of commercial importance that Gold used to be, although to make it more closely resemble the old Gold, GGL should probably be counted on BA flights only.
