Ok, thanks. I did not know weekends were tougher, I always assumed week days were going to be harder because of people buying J class outright for business trips.
I think it's because if Business people want to work 4-5 days abroad they will travel on the weekend. It's more difficult for most of them to travel let say Wednesday to Wednesday as that would involve a weekend away from the family and additional hotel expenses. Especially for TATL flights I'm quite successful with the upgrades on Tuesdays to Thursdays.
