I can confirm that it did not actually work this way. My wife who has no status did not get priority printed on her boarding passes in the app or the web checkin, even though she was on the same PNR as me.

Nevertheless, when we checked in at the airport though, they printed her boarding card on the same RED STOCK PAPER that they use for priority so she was able to use the fastrack security line
