You should have had a folio on checkout, which should take care of your client billing issue. I'm not sure why the credit card charge date should matter here. Other than an explanation, I don't think anything is due to you.
Agreed. I submit expenses based on receipts and folios received while I am traveling. They never want to see my CC bills nor would those really provide any information to the client/company.
