When travelling on their concession you’ll get the level of class they’re entitled to (subject to availability) - I believe they can chop and change their companion every six months. When travelling on your own cash / Avios bookings you’ll be in the cabin you’ve booked into, unless there’s some pilot to pilot texting..... there’s certainly no official perk!
