Logged in today to my Chase account and the annual fee posted 3/1 - maybe that is a universal date on the card? Curious if that now resets the $75 and gate upgrade credits and if the 7,500 miles will be posting soon. The gate upgrades are addictive and I have a couple of flights coming up in the next four months I can use them on. I also purchased a ticket on 3/1 so will look to see if I get the credit on that.
Let us know, but it's unlikely. According to the terms and conditions, the anniversary year for converted accounts starts on "the date the switch is official in the Chase system," not the date at which the annual fee is charged. Although, it does seem odd that you weren't immediately charged an annual fee, so maybe some error has been made, hopefully in your favor.
