Airbus A320ceo: BA received 40 aircraft to expand the capacity of the shorthaul fleet at LHR and also replace the 737s at LGW.

Ten A320ceos were delivered between June 2013 and Oct 2014. All ten are based at LHR with the ex-bmi A319s and A320s now based at LGW.

Ten second hand A320ceos were due to be delivered between Oct 2014 and Sep 2015. Due to problems with the aircraft, some deliveries were delayed and one was in such poor condition that the lease was cancelled and a replacement had to be found. All ten are based at LGW.
