The Park Hyatt is "a totally different league"? It's actually older than the IC Parnas. The PH rooms' wooden floors and furniture are old, nicked and need to be replaced. Don't be fooled by the much higher price they charge. Higher price does not always mean newer and better
IHG points prices are entirely out of whack nowadays, especially in North America.
I'm staying frequently at both properties and yes - the PH is much better! Their pool sucks though and the IKEA rugs need to go. Breakfast at Cornerstone is excellent while the restaurant at IC Parnas is a joke. At least Parnas has a good Club (at a fee).
Totally different hotel concepts though. I can't think of any IC that has PH Standard especially in combination with top tier membership.
