Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Business Park (Bangalore) [Master Thread]
Didn’t see any thread on this property so started a new one.
Had a few night stays earlier this month. Normally stay at the JW when in town but since we were visiting clients, this was where my client was also staying.
This property is located in a business park setting with notably Cisco and LG within the park. Across the busy road is also full of business parks and from what I can tell big Bay Area companies such as Adobe, Wells Fargo, Juniper, just to name a few and Larry is apparently opening up one big campus that is still under construction.
The property is about an hour from the airport at 2am. Customary security check at the gate and an unmanned baggage scanner where my bags went through.
Welcomed as a Titanium member and was given an one category upgrade to an Urban corner room. Basically a regular room on higher floor. No suites shown online when I was checking during my stopover in Europe.
Room is typical Aloft setting. Shampoo and body wash are the refillable type. All else seems the same. Lots of water bottles given.
A decent gym on the pool level. Many machines and free weights. The pool is lappable, not as bad as other Indian hotels with pools, but nevertheless I see pigeons basking in it at times.
From what I can tell, all rates includes breakfast as there are nothing walkable. Breakfast has a big spread with lots choices and made to order goodies. Had lunch here one day and it was also the buffet although for lunch and dinner you can order a la carte. Had dinner here one day and was similar to the lunch buffet. Service is excellent for an Aloft. The WXYZ bar was a happening place at night and the lobby is full of people the three weeknights I was there.
This place is almost always full. Full of business types visiting the nearby business parks by the looks of everyone’s dog tags (ID badges). Lots of corporate events here when I was here at night.
One of the nights they had an Elite member night next to the entrance of the restaurant where beer, wine, and cocktails were served with a few hot appetizers and desserts. Apparently it’s a weekly thing.
Overall not bad. This is a keyless entry hotel but it won’t work until you actually get checked into the hotel. Given a 6pm checkout without hassle.
