I have a Double cash card world elite version, I was hoping I could utilize the new mastercard benefits, specifically the cell phone insurance. The website said my card number wasn't recognized and when I called the customer service number, they said citi cards are not eligible.

Shame that world elite logo is only to earn Citi higher merchant charges, it appears we get no real benefit from it.
