Did the shoe fetishists at SEA require a search of your carry-on bags when you refused to remove your footwear? That happened to me at PHX (a notorious shoe fetish airport) for the first time a couple of days ago---a full SSSS-like harassment because of the "Richard Reid effect." As always, reasoning politely with the supervisor on duty did no good.
