When you call AA, ask them to give you the 6 digit IBERIA locator. 99% of the time they will give a 5 digit code that wont work, and then say they have no idea how to get this 6 digit code. Or you could ask them to assign you a seat if they can. AA is pretty bad with partners record locators, but their agents are even clueless on how to get them, the easiest is BA.
