Experiences like these IF ignored make a case for congressional and govt action. As long as the airlines claim that they can solve customer service problems through voluntary guidelines we may not see much movement from the Airlines.

As a business person myself, I hate to invite govt action. With the consolidation of alliances and global carriers, we may need global updated regulations on standards of customer service.
