Whilst I sympathise, I hope that this was not the letter that you sent to British Airways. Unpleasant though it undoubtedly was, it was clearly unintentional. Your letter was long, and threatening. You are convinced that you know what the substance was, the fact that it was in a similar condition makes me doubt this. It could easily have been amonia cleaning liquid (that is the smell that you detected I am sure) which had been used whilst the aircraft was on the ground. Any other substance would have long dried.
I am not sure what you expect our reaction to be. Should we take away our business also on the strength of this? I am sure that after such an unpleasant incident you would not want to fly British Airways, and I am equally sure that the feeling will be mutual.
