For food, buy something in the airport (or on your way to the airport) and take it on the plane. It will be bigger, better, and cheaper. I think this applies to all airlines (not picking on AS here). I only use BoB as a last resort
I must respectfully disagree here. AS Buy on Board food is some of the best in the airline industry (obviously not free like HA though). You can pre-reserve the buy on board food through the AS and have a meal on-board. At least check the app to see what they have available on your flight.
