Not sure the size of your instrument you're looking to carry-on, but so long as it meets standard carry-on size limits, you should be fine stashing it in an overhead near/around your seat. With Premium seats purchased, you should be in boarding group B, along w/ MVPs (and just behind any Golds/75Ks on the flight).
