SFO is really picky about the 45 minute cut off for checked bags. I arrived on a Friday morning about 60 minutes before departure and the PremEx check in line was a huge snaking line and the econo line and Mr. Easy Checkin were longer. I finally bailed on the PremEx line and got my bags checked at the "46 min mark" by a skycap.
