To come full circle on this...

Returned a couple of days ago.

CX PE ORD-HKG
CX Y HKG-MNL
SQ J MNL-SIN
CX PE SIN-BKK
CX PE BKK-HKG

JL J NRT-ORD

Other than the SQ part, all flights contributed EQD and EQM. The CX flights took about a week to get credited, the JL legs were credited almost immediately. The goal of getting to PlAAtinum was reached, and PPro is easily in reach now, and ExP not out of the question - but would have to work for it.

OW Ruby does sometimes carry decent check-in and early boarding when in SE Asia on CX, but sometimes nothing at all - but clear benefits always at the Sapphire level. IIRC (and I may not), there was no early boarding in HKG as Ruby. I got priority tags every time - but I asked for that if I didn't see them being applied, so maybe that was just a squeaky wheel getting the grease type of deal.
