Only possible consideration might be getting an empty seat next to you, if the route abides, which isn't as likely in row 1.
It's open now, but flight is a couple weeks out. Presumably that's where first upgrade will clear into, unless they all clear before gate and people choose. But I can deal - it's not coach.
