I don't fly the puddle jumpers much, but when I recently did YVRYYJ/YYJYVR with 24left, we were feasting on a bucket of popcorn watching a throng of pax have their luggage gate checked for free (not skychecked) after the announcement was made to do so for "larger" items. We were curious as how "carry-ons" (that arguably wouldn't have been able to fit on mainline metal OH bins) such as several kitchen sinks, fridges, grand pianos, and woolly mammoths made it to that point. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
