If you book a flight on Air Tahiri via its website, you're offered a place to put in contact information at the various places in French Polynesia (and beyond) that you're travelling to. That's actually useful as VT will call you to inform of minor scheduling changes.

Had a flight out of BOB and the airline contacted the place we stayed 2 days in advance to let us know the flight would be leaving 1/2 hr later than originally scheduled when we booked, and the boat shuttle from Vaitape would be running 1/2 hr later. Not a huge amount but gave us more time. Less-detailed e-mail notifcation came a lot later.
