We recently stayed at The Mansion on Turtle Creek and really enjoyed the hotel and restaurant. They are currently renovating the rooms with a completion date expected around early summer, as I recall. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood. The restaurant is historic and mildly elegant, but not at all stuffy. We hope to return after the renovation is complete.

Near Cowboys Stadium is a new hotel currently under construction, the Loews Hotel at Arlington. I believe it is scheduled to open near the end of summer. I was told there will be a hotel shuttle running between the Rangers Baseball and Cowboys Football stadiums. We took the 90 min VIP tour of Cowboys Stadium... pretty amazing facility.

Driving from Cowboys Stadium to The Mansion, we passed Six Flags on the way, so it is probably close to the Loews Hotel.
